We were invited to exhibit at the launch event by London Business Partnership https://londonbp.co.uk at the Small Business Research & Enterprise Centre on Basinghall Street. This program is supported by Mayor of London, Business for London , School for Social Entrepreneurs and Spacehive working with local as well as European authorities, and both, publicly as well as privately fundedorganisations, to develop and deliver a variety of entrepreneurship programmes. Always with a clear focus: to support new and existing small and medium sized business owners through every stage of their business, from pre-start up, to new and trading, and to help them create profitable, resilient and sustainable businesses. They offer comprehensive London e-business support program. Not just surviving, but thriving businesses as they put it.
The event was well attended. It was great to meet other SMEs and exchange ideas on collaborating. The best part of the event was when the doors were opened to the Roman Amphitheatre in Guildhall https://www.thecityofldn.com/directory/londons-roman-amphitheatre/. One of those amazing pieces of history that have survived in the heart of central London. As we connected over a glass of Prosecco, I couldn’t resist imagining how that very spot would have witnessed wild animal fights, public executions and gladiatorial combats. Lost for centuries, the original circular walls of the Amphitheatre were rediscovered by archaeologists working on the site of the new Guildhall Art Gallery building in 1988. Visitors can now step into these well-preserved Roman ruins and you can book your free entry here https://guildhall-art-gallery.myshopify.com/collections/tickets
Being an entrepreneur takes me to the most wonderful places and connect with creative, ambitious and inspiring people. It was a pleasure to showcase some of my artwork in this prestigious venue. I look forward to attending some of their webinars and recommend you look them up too. There a wealth of support for small businesses in London.
