Very excited to be taking part in Creative Mile: Brentford Art Trail. A new Art Trail in West London. I have an amazing host – The Musical Museum https://www.musicalmuseum.co.uk being curated by Noeleen O’Gorman. Take advantage of the free entry during the Art Trail. The museum hosts a variety of musical instruments including the Mighty Wurlitzer. The museum is located between Kew Bridge and Watermans. If you are bringing kids, then check out The Water and Steam Museum for family activities https://waterandsteam.org.uk
This London Art Exhibition was born out of lockdown zoom meetups involving the Creative Enterprise Zone, Creative People and Places and local artists. I have been on the committee and to see all those discussions come to life is very satisfying. Lockdown has been tough for everyone but specially so for artists. Your support is very much appreciated.
Featuring over 60 artists, the trail meanders between 8 participating venues and along the riverside promenade, affording a rare glimpse of Brentford’s industrial past as well as a snapshot of today’s vibrant, creative riverside community.
The final destinations on the trail are Johnson’s Island Artists collective, who will be throwing open their doors and welcoming visitors, and Ballymore’s Catherine Wheel Road where one will find both outdoor art as well as further art showcases in our events space, The Loft studio, and The Duke of London.
I hope you enjoy this art event. Look forward to seeing you in-person. I will be exhibiting abstract floral paintings. Maybe some landscapes and seascapes too. I will have a range of small, medium and large paintings. Plus, a print rack with all my acrylic paintings on A4 or A3 paper. I use archival materials, fix and varnish the artwork for longevity. I have been creating a lot and it is a tough job sorting and selecting which ones to display. Wish me luck!
