Happy Healthy Creative New Year!

Year Of The Tiger
Happy New Roaring Year of Tiger

We managed to get through 2021 and here we are in 2022 the year of the Tiger. I don’t follow horoscopes but when my niece told me that Tiger is also my Chinese Zodiac sign, I googled to find this: The Tiger is known as the king of all beasts in China. The zodiac sign Tiger is a symbol of strength, exorcising evils, and braveness. Ref: https://www.chinahighlights.com/travelguide/chinese-zodiac/tiger.htm You can also check your sign on this website. I am a Water Tiger so I’ve found out. Let me know if you are a Tiger too.

So, I scrolled a bit more: People born in a year of the Tiger are brave, competitive, unpredictable, and confident. They are very charming and well-liked by others. But sometimes they are likely to be impetuous, irritable, and overindulgent. With stubborn personalities and tough judgment, Tigers work actively and express themselves boldly, doing things in a high-handed manner. They are authoritative and never go back on what they have said. With great confidence and indomitable fortitude, they can be competent leaders. They will not make preparations for anything, but can handle anything that comes along. They a strong sense of self-esteem and learning ability. However, in early years, Tigers’ careers are not so smooth. After their thirties they find their direction and gather wealth (Ok, I only found my way in my forties). Tigers are energetic and have great enthusiasm at work.

I’m sure every sign has something good and something that needs improving. I am happy to be a Tiger in 2022. My vision is to reach out and help more people connect with their inner artist through Art Social workshops https://sansart.co.uk/workshops/

My goal is to work harder and expand my business. I don’t like the word ‘business’ but the truth is, being a self-employed artist is the same as running any other business. I still have to do all the non-arty activities from accounts to updating website. Social media is quite time consuming too but helps me keep my clients updated on my activities.

I also foresee getting over my fear and committing to hiring a studio. Chiswick is a great location and I want to stay local despite the costs. I have so outgrown my living room! A studio will help me focus. I aim to paint bigger and better. It will also be a place I can welcome you to see an artist at work 🙂
