Sunset in the City is a landscape painting inspired by my walks along the riverside from Chiswick to Brentford. I’ve used strong vibrant acrylic colours to represent the beauty of nature. Just an attemot at capturing the glorious sunsets we have in this part of the world. The verticals represent the architecture – all the new builds around Chiswick and Brentford. The blue is to remind you of the river. It’s about the interconnectedness of natural and manmade elements that are part of our life in London. It’s a celebration of all things good.
